What A Wap?

- (27/02/10 10:16)
Just when it seemed as though i was getting my groove back on on kobrawap blog, the gprs service conspired to deny me of blog-writing and i could only watch hopelessly as each of my attempts at logging onto the internet kept getting rebuffed. Indeed, this blog you are reading was hurriedly composed cos i just was able to log on after several attempts. Here's hoping the internet service is here to stay and not just a flash in a pan!

Barrack O'barman II

- (17/01/10 09:17)
Hmm, i guess he must be seeing that uneasy lies the head that wears the crown and that it's so easy to find faults when you are outside the government than in it. Not even a Nobel Peace Price, which was undeserved by the way, can make the world look the other way as regards his 'failure' so far. Even as he struggles to silence his critics, who claim he's soft as regards terrorism, by hastily slamming Nigeria into the list of countries on the security watchlist, he still has lots of work to do if he won't blow up this golden chance. Mind you, that a Black is the current president is no guarantee that the post is henceforth free for all Blacks - his performance will go a long way in determining if Americans can still repose confidence in having a Black as their leader. Hey, wait a minute, why am i even bothered with US when i'm a Nigerian? s***, i don't know; but i do know i wrote a blog lol. And hey, i have nothing against Obama - calling him 'Barrack O'barman' is a crazy idea of mine!

Mr. Barrack O'barman

- (17/01/10 09:11)
It's been a year plus a few days that Barack Obama became the number one man in the United States and indeed the world (some people may have reservations about the latter though). Either way, his ascent to the Oval office was greeted with so much worldwide following and minute-by-minute following that he almost rivalled David Beckham as the second most popular man on earth - that's after Michael Jackson has beaten both men to the top price already though. Alongside this great popularity came immense expectations especially as US has lost the respect of many nations and together with Obama's own charismatic promises and plans. 378 days have gone and Obama is gradually slipping down the popularity polls in his countries cos of his seeming failure to back his promises with results. Worsestill, he's sent more troops to Iraq despite promising to withdraw them all within 6months into his tenure!

If U Dont Like Rap 2

- (16/01/10 14:57)
<<<<His murdering record keeps counting after already having the scalps of Jay z (Renegade), 50cent (Patiently waiting), Busta rhymes (i'll hurt you), the whole of D12 & G-unit, Dr. Dre (Forgot about Dre) etc. The only rapper to have seemingly escaped the Detroit MC's slaughter slab is TI in Touchdown - a song that is in itself poor. No wonder Jay z hasn't invited him for a collaboration again lol. Hmm, only Nas, who seems to be the closest lyrical monster to him, hasn't done a duet with him and i'm eagerly waiting for such cos that will be a 'bad meets evil' joint! Well, hope you enjoyed my lil bit on Em. I'll leave you with one of his lines on Renegade: "Do you have any clue what i gotta do to get through, i don't think you do. So, stay tuned and keep your head glued to the stereo cos here we go....". Yeah, here i go fellas. Have a great week y'all.
