All Cos Of Money....

- (18/03/09 08:42)
It's a well-known fact that humans love money but i think Nigerians have taken their own love of money a little overboard. Haba, you only need to see the madness displayed by supporters of a governor that won his election petition tribunal yesterday; men doing deadly stunts on motorbikes, women dancing on top of a moving car (CAR! not a truck o) and several other risky stuffs all because they are given #500 or thereabout with a piece of customized clothes. What amused me the most was the sight of a christian and muslim society rejoicing on the victory of the governor by 'fellowshipping' together under the same canopy. Chei, these are sworn enemies o but when money is involved, that's when you hear 'we serve the same God but through different means'. Anyway, have you heard dat one of d most reverred men of God in Nigeria who predicted 7yrs of economic meltdown just acquired a #4billion worth of private jet! Indeed, he needs it; afterall, he needs to convey our prayers closer to God abi?

Official Bachelors 2

- (17/03/09 13:40)
Meanwhile, i will be stuck to just a single girlfriend who if, as much as, is seen in my room with her top off but with an underwear cos of the heat right here in the tropics, is tantamount to fornication whereas my colleagues would be let off the hook cos it's courtship for them - only bachelors engage in courtship isn't it?! Oh geez, what injustice to us! Let's all stand up and go to war with the education ministry that they should offer us a certificate of bachelorship after spending up to 4years in school cos we also wanna have a 'taste' of bachelorhood instead of jumping straight to fatherhood after the MBBS certificate lol. Do i get someone to second me out there? Hey, i hope my girl aint reading this and you, if you ever mention this to her, i'ma whoop your a*** lol. Yeah, y'all know i'm kidding right? Lol lol lol. But it's worth thinking about though lol lol lol. Peace!

Official Bachelors

Asides the lengthy duration that one spends in school trying to dissect, reflect, palpate, intubate, clerk and all other medical jargons, one other important thing that makes me envious of other courses and profession is the fact that you get to watch your colleagues, who you both started schooling together, graduate right before your very sight and the best you can do is enter the realms of 'how i wish'. In a couple of weeks, my colleagues would be a university graduate while i will still be at the mercies of lecturers issuing out orders ranging from 'get out!' to 'you can never make it in life if you dont get this procedure right'. Hey, the latter is an order and not a curse in med school. Perhaps what annoys me most is the fact that they (my colleagues) get the freedom and privileges to frolick with girls cos they are now official bachelors and so would simply introduce girls as their fiancee lol; afterall their certificates read bachelors of art, science, tech, pharm etc. Meanwhile...

Football Matters III

- (15/03/09 03:44)
<in a boxing bout as well as claiming Andy Murray would win this year's Australian Open; that's english press for you! Anyway, united's achievements get massive airtalk cos most times they set those marks while at their best. Cudicini was the best keeper in 2003 but he was still unknown cos Chelsea was nowhere to be found that year. Similarly, Reina's clean sheet records attracted no media buzz cos Liverpool were simply nobody during those times(Mourinho era) whereas van der saar's own coincides with united's gallop to the league title. In summary, it is no doubt that united are the most supported by all in England but take note, they are receiving any undue advantage cos they've worked so hard to achieve this. Benitez and his cohorts had better take critical look at the reasons behind this rather than whine about and talk crap about Sir Alex Ferguson! Huh *sighs*, what an exhausting blog?! Lol

Football Matters II

<that united has got going for them is that they are the most 'english' of the big4 teams in England! a***nal is the missing french club that migrated to England, Liverpool is the breeding site for Spanish players while Chelsea is, well, aggregation of so many nationalities. The point is united has more british players than all these other clubs put together which is a very vital reason for the massive support they get from the whole British isles. The perfect a***ogy of this is in Italy where Juventus is the beloved team ahead of the Argentinean team(Inter milan) and Brazilian team(AC milan). United are aware of this fact and that is why they will employ another British manager to succeed Fergie instead of Mourinho that everyone seem to be predicting! Now, talking about the hype buzzing after united, the english media has always been a megahypone(is there any instrument like this lol) for british sports such as flattering the likes of Ricky Harton till the poor dude got punched out>>
