Bloah BlogStill On Anniversary - (20/03/09 12:52) Yeah, i'm still in the mood of celebrating my first anniversary on kobra. My last 6months on kobra here have been nothing but spectacular all thanks to kobra blogs. I've read several blogs here that have really taught me lotsa lessons and i just have to appreciate y'all for imparting lives with your blogs. It's important for me to state here that i've learnt from ALL blogs irrespective of what its contents are. I've made friends and even more than that right here on kobra mostly through blogs and i have to thank y'all for your words of encouragement about my blog but hey, i need some constructive criticisms as well cos i believe i've got things to improve on. Thanks once more to y'all for making my first year on kobra worthwhile. I'm hoping this next year brings more great things. Here's a toast to my anniversary *cranks a glass*. Hey, watch out, dont crack a bottle in my house lol.

My First Anniversary - (20/03/09 03:23) Yeah you got it right. Today marks my first year anniversary on kobra. Note my words - first - which simply implies i have no intention of leaving kobra, at least, in the nearest future cos i'd still love to celebrate few more years but then i dont know what the future holds. I still remember perfectly how i got onto kobra. I grudgingly accepted to register after some persuasion from a friend and i even almost ditched the whole stuff cos i was having problems with registering. Yeah, thank you Wyne1 (that's his id; i gotta mention his id cos i owe him everything i am or will ever be on kobra!). The first 5months were quite frustrating and i almost quitted cos i was never really welcomed in the chat rooms; everyone already had his/her own clique of friends and they were not willing to welcome any other person to their circle. Coupled with my poor communication skills, those were nightmarish experience on kobra. Too bad for all those 'snobbers' cos i still remember their ids lol.

All Cos Of Money.... - (18/03/09 08:42) It's a well-known fact that humans love money but i think Nigerians have taken their own love of money a little overboard. Haba, you only need to see the madness displayed by supporters of a governor that won his election petition tribunal yesterday; men doing deadly stunts on motorbikes, women dancing on top of a moving car (CAR! not a truck o) and several other risky stuffs all because they are given #500 or thereabout with a piece of customized clothes. What amused me the most was the sight of a christian and muslim society rejoicing on the victory of the governor by 'fellowshipping' together under the same canopy. Chei, these are sworn enemies o but when money is involved, that's when you hear 'we serve the same God but through different means'. Anyway, have you heard dat one of d most reverred men of God in Nigeria who predicted 7yrs of economic meltdown just acquired a #4billion worth of private jet! Indeed, he needs it; afterall, he needs to convey our prayers closer to God abi?

Official Bachelors 2 - (17/03/09 13:40) Meanwhile, i will be stuck to just a single girlfriend who if, as much as, is seen in my room with her top off but with an underwear cos of the heat right here in the tropics, is tantamount to fornication whereas my colleagues would be let off the hook cos it's courtship for them - only bachelors engage in courtship isn't it?! Oh geez, what injustice to us! Let's all stand up and go to war with the education ministry that they should offer us a certificate of bachelorship after spending up to 4years in school cos we also wanna have a 'taste' of bachelorhood instead of jumping straight to fatherhood after the MBBS certificate lol. Do i get someone to second me out there? Hey, i hope my girl aint reading this and you, if you ever mention this to her, i'ma whoop your a*** lol. Yeah, y'all know i'm kidding right? Lol lol lol. But it's worth thinking about though lol lol lol. Peace!

Official Bachelors - (17/03/09 13:21) Asides the lengthy duration that one spends in school trying to dissect, reflect, palpate, intubate, clerk and all other medical jargons, one other important thing that makes me envious of other courses and profession is the fact that you get to watch your colleagues, who you both started schooling together, graduate right before your very sight and the best you can do is enter the realms of 'how i wish'. In a couple of weeks, my colleagues would be a university graduate while i will still be at the mercies of lecturers issuing out orders ranging from 'get out!' to 'you can never make it in life if you dont get this procedure right'. Hey, the latter is an order and not a curse in med school. Perhaps what annoys me most is the fact that they (my colleagues) get the freedom and privileges to frolick with girls cos they are now official bachelors and so would simply introduce girls as their fiancee lol; afterall their certificates read bachelors of art, science, tech, pharm etc. Meanwhile...
