Exams

It's that time of the academic calendar again which i hate with all passion - the promotional exams! It's not the exam period that i really hate; it's the post-exam period when results are to be released. And the reason for the hatred is simple - you'd rarely be 100% happy! If you're lucky enough to get promoted, you gonna have a friend who aint that lucky or you'd know someone you like who's gonna get repeated. I'm at that crossroad again and it's looking as though some of my folks may not make it judging with what's on ground. f*** it, i don't even know if i'd make it myself. I so f***ing hate exams cos it's not a test of knowledge but simply a determination of how many people should fail!

Adieu Yar'Adua

It was with mixed emotions that i received President Umar Yar'Adua's death last week. On the positive side, the public holiday declared following his death ensured that the exams i had that day were postponed - it was a good news cos i hadn't prepared well for it in the first place. On the other hand, i was filled with pity for the poor man who had to die from one of the rarest diseases that afflict man - Churg-Strauss syndrome! Well, it's believed that no one talks ill about the dead; so, here is wishing him the very best wherever he is.

Yeah! Away from my earlier meant-to-raise-some-eyebrows blog; i've decided to simply dedicate this to my Acting President - Dr. Goodluck Jonathan. I must confess i was skeptical, at first, about his capability - i mean: can anything good come out of the Niger-Delta region?{apologies to those from that region}. However, i've been impressed with the way he's been running things since the 'abracadabra' disappearance of the worst president Nigeria ever had - i guess i need not mention his name or do i? All i just want from him is to stop, by all means necessary, the 2nd coming of the jersey No. 10-wearing, gap-toothed Evil Genius that resides in Niger state! And please, don't underestimate his capabilities - remember how Zidane almost succeeded at his 2nd coming at the 2006 world cup? Ride on Dr. Goodluck or should i rather say Dr. Goodie Goodie?

<<<I was one of the dopest, i mean best, blog writers! Common, who do you know can write a full-length blog in just a single sentence and still make sense? Oh, i think i know someone. Guess what is his name - BLOAH! I know you think i'm blowing my trumpet but if i don't blow it myself, who's gonna do it for me especially now that diseases can be contacted through the oral route! So, who's gonna wanna put his/her mouth on my trumpet to blow it? So, you see i need to give myself some props or what do y'all think lol? I said it at the beginning that i don't know what i'm writing; so don't get annoyed with whatever i've said lol. Just laugh and hiss it off! I've gotta get back to read! It's still yours truly, the biggest EMINEM fan shining off and wishing you guys a goodbye till......er......er....well....till i write another blog lol. PS: I'm expecting some backlash in form of pms and i'm over two years old on kobra!

Wow, i'm back on here like i just signed my record deal lol. I really don't know what to write or why i'm writing but i just feel like doing so. Indeed, several people have complained about the 'dwindling fortunes' of kobra especially the blog aspect and in fact, i'm a culprit! Really, is it kobra that has changed or we - the 'kobraites'? Cos there has never been a time i come here that i don't see new blogs, although it's true some blogs stay for up to 4days before they are wiped off the last updated and it's kinda hard to find someone you look up to reading his/her blogs. I guess the latter reason holds for me; plus it's hard to change when you're already familiar with some people. And then, there's the big impact of facebook (don't even get me started on that!). It's just unfortunate that some of my favourite bloggers seemed to all disappear at the same time. Indeed, i, also seemed to disappear as well cos i was also good, or rather, very good! Yes, you heard me right! I was one>>>
