'n dogtertjie het vir haar pappie 'n bybel gekoop as 'n verjaarsdag geskenk.sy wou iets spesiaals vir hom voor in die bybel skryf.sy het diep gedink, toe onthou sy dat baie van haar pappie se boeke wat hy present gekry het, mooi woorde op die eerste bladsy geskryf is.vinnig is sy studeerkamer toe, het die boeke deurgekyk,oplaas het sy 'n mooi sinnetjie gekry waarvan sy hou en dit dadelik in die geskenk-bybel geskryf. die volgende dag toe haar pappie sy stralende dogtertjie se geskenk oopmaak, lees hy heel voor in die bybel, in haar groot dogtertjie handskrif geskryf"aan pappa, met komplimente van die skrywer."die bybel word aan ons gegee, inderdaad met komplimente van die skrywer - god self deur die heilige gees. juis daarom is die bybel gods woord. paulus beskryf die bybel as 'n "swaard". elkeen van ons is besig om oorlog te voer teen die satan en sy bose geeste in die lug!en as jy uittrek in hierdie geveg, moet jy dit doen met die swaard van die gees in jou hand.dankie heer.

in degrees of change.the blue swallow (hirundo atrocaerulea), is an intra-african migrand and is found in the moist montane grasslands of kwa-zulu natal, mpumalanga and limpopo from sept - april each year. the south african blue swallow, is qualified as critically endangered.the blue swallow count in 2004 had 27 in mpumalanga, 107 in kwa-zulu natal, the figure for limpopo was not given. a sudden shift to wintry weather in autumn or spring, has been known to kill as many as three-quarters of a million birds in a small area. one weather change in autumn 1931 had a happy sequel, when large numbers of migrating swallows and martins perished in europe. birdwatchers of vienna, managed to rescue 90,000 of the unfortunate birds and, after nursing them back to health, sent them to venice by plane, where they were freed to continue southward. if you watch where the sun rises and where the sun sets, you'll notice that the sun moves a few degrees every day. . . . !!

Graceful Swallows

swallows are graceful, friendly and useful birds.their flight is graceful as they carry on their almost incessant pursuit of flies and other insects.the striped swallow arrives here on the 10 or 12 august, raise 4 young babies in a season and migrates on the 18 or 20 march.swallows don't defend their nests and sparrows drive them out of their nests.their nest on our front porch has been saved by a human helping hand.they get used to us and sing when we whistle to them.when they arrive, come and greet us by flying in circles in our lounch.before leaving, they say goodbye by flying in again and circles in our lounge.swallows have a sense of responsibility caring for their young and have set times to work, to play and to go and sleep.at 18.30 they are in their nest.they have an instinct of direction guided by seasonal change in the position of the sun.they orient themselves while the sun is visible,regardless of the time of day.they have a way of telling time, by the position movement

die wonder van gods skeppings, in daardie oomblik, vir my oorvol gemoed, byna teveel ! deur plek te gee aan elkeen van sy grootse skeppinkies, hul skoonheid te waardeer, dit ten volle te geniet, kry ons 'n kykie in die hemel, kan ons die diepe vreugde ondervind van volmaaktheid, wat die here bied ! so nietig, die swaeltjie, geskep deur ons almagtige god. sien ons die seeninge - sonskyn, reen, bome wat op vasgestelde tye, bloeisels gee en saggroen bot! wees soos die swaeltjie, 'n klein wonderwerk. . . . ! en weet jy, as nietige mensie is god se meesterstuk, en in hom is jou krag, onbeperk. . . . !
