What Do You See?

Two men looked out over a wide plain stretching out infront of them,tinted in soft colours by the last rays of the setting sun! The 1st one saw just dust, stone and mud after the beneficent rain. . . . The 2nd fixed his radiant eye on the luscious green fields and the mountains high. He alone noticed the sparkling luminous band of stars in all its' splendour. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Are you looking at this picture seeing the beauty thereof or are you just seeing the mud and stones although the fields are rejoicing after much needed,life-giving rain?Rather count your BLESSINGS and be grateful for what you have and that which you receive everyday. . . . !!

Two missionaries from South Africa, Marius,a man, and Amanda, a woman,from Moreleta Church,in Pretoria have been put in jail in Yemen. (Yemen is a state with the Red Sea to the West and Saudi Arabia to the North.) Marius and Amanda heard this morning, the 9 Sept'08,that the authorities of Yemen is contemplating to have both of them executed. Please Pray to God to protect Marius and Amanda and bring them home safely. The Word of God says: "THE EFFECTUAL FERVENT PRAYER OF THE RIGHTEOUS AVAILETH MUCH." To my friends who prayed for my son and his wife to be safe on Saturday 6 Sept and Sunday 7 Sept'08, when the HURRICANE IKE, struck the Island, Providenciales, at the Carribean Isles, I THANK YOU SINCERELY and THANK GOD FOR LOYAL FRIENDS LIKE YOU. May God BLESS YOU for what you have done for me and my family. My son reported to me today,telling me they are safe. No lives were lost in that catagory 4 storm on that Island. That same HURRICANE,IKE, went to a nearby island and many lives were lost. Then HURRICANE, IKE,hit CUBA by force and caused havoc with what was left after HURRICANE GUSTAV destroyed everything in it's way,just a week before! YOUR PRAYERS and YOUR FAITH IN GOD,SAVED EVERYONE ON THAT ISLAND. I'LL NEVER FORGET WHAT YOU HAVE DONE FOR ME! PRAISE GOD FOR ANSWERING YOUR PRAYERS AND MINE! If you read this - please pray for those people in Jamaica, Carribean Isles, Cuba and New Orleans and China who suffered loss of lives! Thank you my dear friends.Love you Ona.
